St. Francis College has been around in some form for more than 150 years now. And while that encompasses generations, it's amazing to be in a place where the history encompasses centuries.

I see signs pointing the way to Perugia, where St. Francis was imprisoned in his younger days. It's a wonderful experience to look out the window towards a mountaintop and see an old stone building and realize that lonely structure may well have sat there for hundreds of years; at one point serving as an outpost for one of the constantly combative towns that dot the region.
